Please read these terms carefully before using our services

1. Introduction

Welcome to AffiReach Xpress Couriers (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website (affireachxpress.com) or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

AffiReach Xpress Couriers provides international shipping services from the United States to Jamaica, including:

  • Air and sea freight services

  • Package handling and processing

  • Local delivery within Kingston, St. Andrew, Portmore, and Spanish Town

  • Drop-off and pickup services

  • Third-party delivery services, including courier partners such as Knutsford Express

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

3. User Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipment and contact information

  • Ensure all items comply with Jamaican laws and regulations

  • Provide valid invoices and descriptions for customs purposes

  • Pay all applicable shipping, customs, and service fees

Customers are fully responsible for any penalties, delays, or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

4. Prohibited Items

We do not accept shipment of prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, and weapons

  • Explosives, flammable, or hazardous materials

  • Perishable goods (unless approved)

  • Counterfeit or illegal goods

  • Any items restricted under Jamaican Customs regulations

We reserve the right to refuse, return, or dispose of prohibited items at the customer’s expense.

5. Fees & Payments

  • All shipping fees must be paid before delivery of packages

  • Delivery fees may be paid:

    • In advance, or

    • Upon delivery (cash on delivery)

Additional fees may apply for:

  • Storage

  • Re-delivery attempts

  • Special handling

Failure to pay may result in refusal of delivery or withholding of packages.

6. Delivery & Third-Party Services

  • Delivery is available within Kingston & St. Andrew, Portmore, and Spanish Town

  • Third-party carriers (including Knutsford Express) may be used

AffiReach Xpress Couriers is not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused by third-party carriers, once the package has been handed over.

Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

7. Storage Policy

  • Packages are stored free of charge for up to 7 days after arrival

  • After 7 days, a storage fee of JMD $100 per day per package will apply

Unclaimed packages:

  • After 30 days, packages will be considered abandoned

  • We reserve the right to:

    • Sell the package to recover costs, or

    • Dispose of it

8. Liability & Claims

  • Our maximum liability is limited to JMD $10,000 per package

  • Claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted within 3 days of delivery or notification

  • Proof of value (receipt/invoice) may be required

AffiReach Xpress Couriers is not responsible for:

  • Damage caused by improper packaging

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Items damaged prior to arrival at our facility

Customers ship items at their own risk beyond the stated liability limit.

9. No Responsibility for Seller Errors

AffiReach Xpress Couriers is not responsible for issues arising from the original seller or supplier, including:

  • Incorrect items shipped

  • Damaged or defective goods

  • Missing items from orders

  • Counterfeit or low-quality products

Customers are responsible for resolving such issues directly with the seller.

10. Customs & Duties

Customers are responsible for:

  • All applicable customs duties, taxes, and clearance fees

  • Providing accurate invoices and item descriptions

We are not responsible for delays, inspections, or additional charges imposed by Jamaican Customs.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AffiReach Xpress Couriers shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of income, profit, or business

  • Delays due to customs, weather, or third-party carriers

12. Account Suspension or Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or suspend accounts for:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Abuse of services

  • Violation of these Terms

13. Privacy

Customer information is handled securely and used only for operational and communication purposes. A full Privacy Policy will outline how data is collected and used.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
